With just a few weeks left in MSBA 2014, I can’t believe how fast this summer has gone by. When I first arrived in NYC at the end of May, I was overwhelmed and scared by the prospect of working full time in a corporate setting – on my own in the business hub of the universe. At the beginning of my internship, I looked forward to going home at the end of summer and telling my friends and family about my experiences. Now that my time with WWE and living in NYC is coming to a conclusion, I would do just about anything to extend my stay.

As the speaker series and office visits have added up, I have gained personal skills and developed a level of professionalism that I never imagined achieving. I owe so much to MSBA for the ample opportunities that I have been provided with this summer and I can’t wait to give back in the future.

My work at WWE has given me more confidence than ever before. Simply having a globally traded organization on my resume would have been worth the cost of living in NYC; however, WWE has provided me with much more than this in giving me a high level of respect and a clear voice within the office. Because of MSBA, and specifically Lorne Segall, I have been living out a childhood dream this summer. I wake up every morning with a true excitement to go to work and I miss my office and coworkers on weekends! The reaction I get when telling people I work for WWE is something I will never forget.

Tomorrow is my birthday and I know my classmates are planning on celebrating the night. Everyone has been extremely generous to me during my time in NYC and I can’t wait to spend a quality night with everyone tomorrow.

In the words of Ted Williams, “Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth.”

I’m not ready to go home yet… Sorry, Mom!
