The phrase “time flies” always sounded funny to me, but in a literal sense, time has really flown by here in New York City. It seems like just yesterday I was arriving in the Big Apple not knowing what to expect. I had no idea about what the city would have to offer, the relationships I would build along the way, and the experiences I would share in such a short period of time.

We are just over the halfway point of our MSBA 2016 experience, and everything is coming into place. Things have really started to pick up with Workshops and new opportunities to learn in the industry every day. Today we had the pleasure of speaking with Jason Belzer, Founder & President of GAME, Inc. Jason is a young and talented entrepreneur who represents some of the best college basketball coaches in the country. Not only did Jason offer insight on his company, but also ensured that we understand negotiation techniques and other tips and trades of the business. He then took us through an exercise of what a real contract negotiation process would look like. Being so infatuated with agent representation, I made sure I paid close attention. I hope to meet more people like Jason with my time left in MSBA, and I know the best is yet to come.
