Introducing: The MSBA Class of 2018

Bailey Weigel 2018

Manhattan Sports Business Academy is excited to unveil the members of our Class of 2018! In the program’s seventh year, MSBA received nearly 1,500 applications worldwide for our summer immersion program taking place June 10th – August 4th.

Candidates were assessed on a variety of factors including academic performance, extracurricular participation, campus leadership efforts, relevant work experience, industry knowledge, and other intangible traits. The 25 individuals listed here rose above their peers throughout the rigorous selection process and have emerged as the next generation of sports business leaders.

2018 represents one of our most impressive and diverse classes yet:

  • 6 are rising juniors, 14 are rising seniors and 5 will be graduating this spring
  • 13 are women and 12 are men
  • 12 are the first to represent their university within the MSBA program
  • 24 are from the United States and 1 is from the United Kingdom

This year’s class will join an MSBA Alumni base of 137 young professionals who are already taking the industry by storm.
